CRFG Meeting minutes August 22, 2015

Members in attendance-24

Conducted 6 wool raffle drawings and six luck members won a ¼ yard of wool.

Requested and received enough volunteers to complete the table flowers for the Oct 3 Hook In.

Sharon Gunderson requested more silent auction items.

Chris Sundburg volunteered to take the gaming class so we can raffle the rug.

Discussed price for raffle tickets. Members arrived at $2 for one or $3 for five.  Would like to see the drawing held at the 2016 Hook-In.

Members signed a congratulatory card for the anniversary of the first ATHA guild.

Jenny S volunteered to teach new hookers at the Hook In.

Cheri T requested members to submit photos of new rugs so we can get some new photos on the website.

Need more volunteers for the front table at the Hook In.  Looking to fill 9am and 11am slots.

2016 Hook In will be held on the third Saturday of September.

Cheryl B reported on her experiences at Sauder Village.

Member requested an educational event for demonstration of rug finishing.

Formal meeting adjourned.  A plethora of rug hooking and socialization followed.
